This policy explains how Deal Kart collects and uses personal data when you use DealKart.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email address and a securely hashed password.
• Delivery details: addresses and phone numbers you save or use for orders.
• Orders: what you bought, prices paid, and payment and shipping references.
• Technical data: information needed to keep the site secure, such as sign-in and security cookies.

We do not collect or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking passwords. Payments are handled by our payment partner.

How we use it

To create and secure your account, process and deliver orders, handle cancellations, returns and refunds, send you service messages about your orders, meet legal and tax obligations, and prevent fraud and abuse.

Who we share it with

Only service providers who need it to serve you, such as our payment partner (to take payment and process refunds), courier partners (to deliver and pick up parcels) and our email provider. We don't sell your personal data.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work: keeping you signed in, protecting forms against forgery, and short-lived security checks during sign-in.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. For example, order and invoice records are kept for the period tax law requires.
